HMY are delighted to announce that Hartwell Architects have been incorporated into Hazle McCormack Young LLP (HMY) as of 1st June 2018. This acquisition draws on the complementary skillsets and professional qualifications of Hartwell Architects to strengthen their teams specialising in healthcare, residential and education projects.

Hartwell Architects founding partners Stephen Ball and Alan Found will be joining HMY as Senior Architects continuing to manage the team at Dover with Stephen Coomber, Partner responsible for Canterbury and Dover offices. “The incorporation of Hartwell Architects within HMY will strengthen our vision for the practice providing us with the skills, knowledge and resources to develop our expanding workload particularly in the healthcare sector with our success in being appointed to the NHS SBS Consultants Framework. Stephen and Alan also bring their experience in the education, residential, infrastructure and masterplanning sectors to enhance the service HMY can bring to our clients”.

Stephen Coomber, Partner HMY

“Having established Hartwell Architects in 1989 and built a good reputation for our work undertaken across a broad spectrum of projects, we recognised the strong synergy between Hartwell Architects & HMY and how, by bringing the practices together, we strengthen and broaden the services we are able to offer. We are all excited about the joining of our practices and looking forward to our future together.”
